Seminar on Internal Control System

On April 6 a seminar took place organized within OASI-supported "Expansion of Organic Fruit Production Through Upgrading the Organic Orchard Management and Streamlining Horticulturist Farmers into Organic Agriculture Cooperative" project.

The seminar was on The Features of The Internal Control System, The Role and Functions of The Inspector, being organised for the members of "Organic Fruit Producers” cooperative.

Shen's specialists presented the features of group certification i.e. internal control being used in organic agriculture. All the members were provided with logbooks and internal inspection forms. It is envisaged that first internal inspection will be performed together with Shen specialist.

After the seminar, the members of cooperative were distributed pesticides purchased under the project. Pest control treatment schedule is designed in accordance of which the farm-machine operators of Tsirani Aygi LLC will accomplish pesticide treatment of orchards of all cooperative members using new tractors and sprayers (the individual sheets of distributed pesticides will be presented together with accounting documents during the monitoring).

The seminar was held in Shenik community of Armavir Marz with participation of 15 members of "Organic Fruit Producers” cooperative.
